Abstract
This paper looks at questionnaire findings to evaluate how people, everyday users and stakeholders, view the transformation of Mall 1 Gulberg, Lahore. The area is heavily shifted from retail to food and dinning. The paper investigates the effect of food-led transformation in the domain of accessibility, safety and spatial experience. The survey results show that most of the users of Mall 1 generally like the new restaurant focus but there are some other aspects that needs to come under consideration like parking, inadequate signage and lack of facilities for differently abled people.
